Shipping or inventory to manage
How does it work?
There are no minimum orders, no monthly fees, no customer service to manage and you don’t have to physically produce or ship anything. Every sale on Stitcharama is pure profit.
You set your prices, so the more customers you have the more you’ll earn. Use your mailing lists and social media accounts to let everyone know your designs are now available as iron-on transfers.
Pro Tip – Funnel customers to purchase your transfers: Create a new product in your own shop featuring your Iron On Transfers, and link it directly to your product listing on Stitcharama.
Here’s an example:

Got questions? We love questions.
Can you sell my pattern PDFs as digital downloads, too?
Absolutely! You can choose to list your pattern as iron-on transfers only, digital download only … or both! We recommend the latter for maximum sales.
Can I include my own instructions & tips along with the patterns?
- For iron-on transfer packets, your customer automatically receive a separate PDF with your instructions, tips, hints and ideas, as they wait for their transfers to arrive by mail.
- For digital download PDFs, your instructions are included along with the pattern itself.
I’d rather order a wholesale batch of custom transfers, instead of doing print on demand. Do you sell wholesale?
Absolutely – contact us for our current wholesale prices.
How long does shipping take?
We ship within 1 week of receiving orders – and often within a day or two.
Can you print large-format transfers?
At this time we’re only printing 8.5″ x 11″ transfers.
What line weight should I use in my designs?
Any line weight in your artwork can be reproduced in the transfer – even fine lines transfer perfectly with no spreading. We recommend fine lines for stitching over.
What format does my artwork need to be in?
Please submit your artwork as a high-resolution PDF.
Can I have more than one design on each page?
You can have one design per page, or many designs per page, it’s up to you!
What about page margins?
Please leave a 1/2 inch page margin around the artwork.
Do I need to mirror-image my design?
Yes, please remember that your image will be transferred in reverse, so if necessary flip your image before emailing. This is critical for any text on the page.
Are the transfers reusable?
Each transfer is reusable up to a few times, depending on heat settings and how long you press.
Can you print color iron-on transfers?
Currently, we only print in black ink.
Will the transfer ink wash out of fabric?
The transfer will be permanent on polyester fabric or poly-blends, and generally washes out of cotton (but does not easily rub off).
Can you help me turn my artwork into embroidery patterns?
Nope. We only work with finalized artwork in PDF form – high-resolution much preferred. If you need graphic design help we suggest asking a talented friend or hiring a professional to help you out.
Whatever is on your pattern will be printed – including any background shading of any kind. Artwork created digitally from scratch in a graphics program is best. If you draw your pattern by hand and then scan it in, there’s a chance there will be background shading (even if it’s not visible to the eye, there may be background ink printed). If you’re not sure, please consult a graphic designer for their advice.
